About the Event

Join doula and midwife Isis Rose and Julie Laut, director of Urbana-Champaign Reproductive Justice, for a conversation and Q&A about the CU Birth Fund and birth equity in C-U. Black maternal death rates are 2-3 times that of their white counterparts. Learn how access to midwifery and doula care can help reduce Black maternal mortality in C-U.

The CUB Fund is grateful to the UC Friends Meeting for a seed grant that has helped us build this program.
