About the Event

UNDER G-D weaves together the stories of a Jewish mother and activist in Indiana, a rabbi in Florida and lawyers throughout the country who are seeking to fight abortion bans in part by placing them in the legal and cultural context of religious freedom.

The film will be introduced by director Paula Eiselt and producer Darcy McKinnon.

Following a screening of the film, we’ll be joined by the following panelists all working for reproductive justice:

  • Lori Adelman, PPFA Global
  • Melissa Shube, The Lawyering Project
  • Rep. Anna V. Eskamani (D-FL)
  • Professor Marci A. Hamilton, CHILD USA & University of Pennsylvania

The event will be moderated by Margaret Talbot, The New Yorker.

There will also be spotlights from We Testify, Rewire News Group & The National Women’s Law Center to continue your learning and activism journey around this key issue of our time.
