About the Event
Join activist leaders from Grandmothers for Reproductive Rights (GRR!) to learn about how to take action against the rampant misinformation distributed in our community through anti-abortion centers (AACs), also sometimes referred to as crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs).
Anti-Abortion Centers operate in every state across the country, united in an agenda to stop abortions through misinforming, coercing, shaming + outright lying to pregnant people seeking support. AACs receive public funding in some states and are a key prong of the anti-abortion movement’s strategy post-Roe, which makes exposing & confronting them more critical than ever. This interactive training session prepares participants to lead teach- ins, plan demonstrations, lead public awareness efforts and direct young + vulnerable pregnant people toward non-judgmental, evidence-based providers in their local communities.
