UCRJ invites you to stand in solidarity and defiance of one year since the Supreme Court's unjust attack on bodily autonomy. Let's lean into the joyful action that will sustain our work!

June 24th marks one year since the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision eliminated federal protections for abortion access. UCRJ and partner organizations invite you to gather in joyful community in defiance of this decision and the wave of laws across the country undermining the human right to bodily autonomy. All are welcome!
1-2pm (main room) - Creative poetry workshop
2-4pm (main room) - Zine making with the UCIMC Zine Library
1-2pm (Sunroom) - Visioning Reproductive Justice: an interactive teach-in with Julie Laut and Sam Auerbach
2-3pm (Sunroom) - Abortion aftercare packaging event with Planned Parenthood of Illinois
4-5pm (Sunroom) - Create kits for people traveling for abortion and gender-affirming care with Elevated Access
5:30pm (Main stage) - Live performances by Paul Kotheimer, Mike Ingram, Emily the Band
Comedy sets by Farah Ismi and Jessica Stelzer from CU Broad Comedy
All events are free and open to the public. Donations to UCRJ welcomed!
